A Beautiful and Atmospheric Evening at Hadestown Hadestown was absolutely stunning. The performance took place in the beautiful Lyric Theatre, with its elegant Art Deco feel, which immediately added to the atmosphere of the evening. The show grabbed my attention from the very first moment. It opened with the lead actor delivering a magnificent blues-inspired musical number that was both powerful and captivating. The music throughout the show—full of jazz and blues influences—created an incredibly rich and atmospheric experience. The story itself is engaging and emotionally compelling, and the staging is simply breathtaking. One of the most impressive moments was the way the Underworld literally descended into the ground as part of the set design. It was visually stunning and perfectly matched the story’s darker themes. I also loved the open ending of this love story. It leaves you reflecting on hope, love, and the choices we make. An unforgettable evening in the theatre. ★★★★★

We flew from the states to take our daughter to Hadestown to celebrate her graduation! Our hearts still flutter at hearing this cast serve it up to us with energy for days and enough talent to last a lifetime. For our daughter it would be Jasmine Triadi singing Flowers as she picked that song for her senior voice recital. There was more ✨magic on that stage than a Harry Potter convention. 🥀♥️ And if that wasn't enough meeting the cast afterwards completed the night to truly living it up on top!!! They were gracious, kind and charming with their time after giving such demanding performances. We three will never forget the night. Dreams are sweet!🥰

From the moment the actors walked on stage, I was locked in. Such a talented cast of performers and musicians. The staging was also a major part of the show's success as it really helped to tell the story. All and all this was a superb evening of theatre. "We build the wall to keep poverty out". Those words sent a chill up My spine as they are very much a reminder of how the failure of humanity is just as much alive in today's world.

I absolutely adored this show!! The theatre was the perfect venue for it, the atmosphere was vibrant and teeming with the essence of this love story. I had a pillar in my line of view and even that was not enough to take away from the overall energy of the actors onstage--their chemistry and palpable presence and voice. Five stars, easily!

The first thing about this experience was how nice the workers were. They were posted all throughout the theatre with helpful information and they were also very respectful of everyone. The theatre was also very beautiful. It was clear that a lot of work was put into making sure it was kept beautiful.
