The venue was lovely and quite intimate The dialogue was typical Alan Sorkin brilliance, bringing touching and funny moments to a very difficult topic. The best thing about the play was the incredible and believable acting. Every actor portrayed their role to perfection. I don't think I have ever cried at a stage play before. I did at this one. A moving and poignant performance by every actor involved.
This adaptation to stage of Harper Lee's classic is a must see. Re-live the summer of 1935 in Maycomb County and the events that surround the trial of Tom Robinson. Scout, Jem and Dill watch what's going on around them as Atticus defends the innocent man who can not get a fair trial in the deep south. The cast are wonderful. Highly recommended.
The striking presence of Atticus Finch the moment he went on stage. I'm so happy thay I finally got to see the adaptation, and it was absolutely brilliant. It made my blood boil all over again, just like it did the first time I read the book. A must-see without a doubt!!
First time experience at the theatre in London. The feel of the venue was as classic as I had envisaged. I felt the same satisfaction from the play as when I first read the book. A fantastic job of taking it from the page to the stage. Thankyou and well done. Peter
Apmospere was good the performance was excellent . The play did catcher some of racism that Black Afro American face in the Southern states of America . Was terrible time for Black Americans hatred towards them goes back to slavery and the civil war
